HMS Victory & The Mary Rose

Take a trip to the Royal Historic Dockyards located within Britain's largest naval port. Amazingly there are still a number of ships from the days of the age of sail. The HMS Victory originally laid down in 1749 and famously the flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar is able to be visited (from the forecastle to the orlop deck!). The Mary Rose (the flagship of Henry VIII's navy in the 16th century) is now fully on display having been treated for the last 35 years to preserve it since having been pulled up from the seabed several miles away where it had sunk nearly 450 years before.

The tour duration of 5 hours is to allow for a variety of different departure times for ships. Also often cruise ships let off passengers on their own shore excursions first thus by 9am, most of the time, we can rely on being able to set off.
