University City and 1000 year old Cathedral

Take a tour from Oxford (ideal if you're already staying there in the city) to Stonehenge. Before we head off to Stonehenge Brendan your guide will give you a tour of his old stomping ground where he was a student between 2011 to 2015. An entrance to a college is likely depending on season and whether it is term time (unfortunately a tour of Christchurch College will not be possible at any time). Later take a look at Winchester Cathedral which houses the remains of a number of Anglo Saxon Kings from before the time of William the Conqueror. The Cathedral has a fantastic contrast of nearly 1000 year old Romanesque architecture and late Gothic architecture towards its west end. Together these two styles make up the cathedral's great length making it the longest cathedral in England!

The sites in the title of the tour are the places which we most try to get to on the day (subject to last minute closures or other unforseen circumstances). However, we do like to be flexible so feel free to discuss on the day if there are any additional sites you would like to see. Or if you would like to change the itinerary entirely (however you would have to purchase any tickets for sites which were not planned).
