Winchester Cathedral & Stonehenge
Visit two colossal english monuments built around 2500 years apart from each other. Stonehenge was finished in its present form with its colossal upright stones around 3500 years ago. Winchester Cathedral contrasts stonehenge with England's longest Cathedral with a substantial east end built in the 11th and 12th centuries in the romanesque style, with grand additions in the Gothic style in the latter part of the Middle Ages.
Depending on how long you would like to spend at Stonehenge or Winchester Cathedral there are a number of other Mediaeval or Stone age sites which are possible to visit during the day along with finding time for lunch (not included) and coffee breaks.
The sites in the title of the tour are the places which we most try to get to on the day (subject to last minute closures or other unforseen circumstances). However, we do like to be flexible so feel free to discuss on the day if there are any additional sites you would like to see. Or if you would like to change the itinerary entirely (however you would have to purchase any tickets for sites which were not planned).
